Blessings

Busy day again today at the house. So much to do cleaning up the yard, trimming bushes, hauling old limbs out of the hardwoods, etc. I am not even tackling the garden until next year, which by the way is about 200 feet long by about 60 feet wide. Half of the garden is raspberry bushes and the other half is garden, all of which is severely overgrown for the past for 4 years or so. That will be tackled in the spring, I will have the garden tilled this fall and let it sit over winter.

Some friends came by last night to see the house just before dusk. I went to open the patio door to go out and show them the garden area and there was a doe that stood in the yard for the longest time like she was looking for something. I was wondering if maybe she used to eat the grass in the backyard which is now mowed or maybe she had a fawn nearby. I have a few does that hang around and lay by the garden fence at the edge of the hardwoods, I love seeing them.

The priest from my church came by today to bless my house. When I was in Church Sunday I was feeling particularly blessed, thankful and happy to have my house and I thought it would be a great idea. I am glad I had it done.

Time to hit the hay after the long day.

Thanks for reading!
